Pro Football Hall of Famer James Lofton will make his first visit to Packers Fan Fest, March 13-14, as one of the headlining alumni to appear at the annual fan event.

The Packers' all-time receiving yardage leader with 9,656 yards, Lofton played nine seasons (1978-86) for Green Bay and still holds several club records. He later went on to play for the L.A. Raiders, Buffalo, L.A. Rams and Philadelphia. In 16 total seasons, he posted 764 receptions for 14,004 yards (fifth all-time) and 75 touchdowns. After retiring from football, Lofton enjoyed a career in broadcasting and later was an assistant coach for the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders.

After being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003, the Packers welcomed him back later that season (Oct. 12) to be honored as the team's 20th representative in the Hall by placing his name on the Lambeau Field façade, joining the other Packers greats displayed in the historic stadium. He previously had been inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 1999.

At Fan Fest, Lofton will join other alumni Donny Anderson, LeRoy Butler, Paul Coffman, Lynn Dickey, William Henderson, Jerry Kramer, Dorsey Levens and Brian Noble. Current players participating include 2008 Pro Bowlers Nick Collins and Al Harris, as well as Atari Bigby, Desmond Bishop, Mason Crosby, Donald Driver, Ryan Grant, Tory Humphrey, Cullen Jenkins, James Jones, Aaron Kampman, Ruvell Martin, Jason Spitz and Scott Wells.
