Started six games at left tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2015 before a knee injury ended his season prematurely. Sustained another season-ending knee injury in the 2016 opener against Mizzou. Opted not to play in the Camping World Bowl to get ready for the draft.
Honors: One of three honored as the Big-12 Offensive Lineman of the Year this past year. Named to three All-America teams and was a first-team All-Big 12 selection by both the AP and coaches.
More: Basketball was his first love. Didn't actually play football until his senior year at Miramar (Fla.) High School.
