Biography
The Green Bay Packers signed RB Damien Martinez to the practice squad on Dec. 30, 2025.
Martinez (6-0, 217), a rookie out of the University of Miami (Fla.), was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round (No. 223 overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft and spent the early part of the season on the Seahawks' practice squad. In college, he played two seasons at Oregon State (2022-23), where he earned All-Pac-12 first-team honors both seasons and was selected to the 247Sports True Freshman All-America team in 2022. Martinez played for Miami in 2023, earning All-ACC honorable mention after posting the first 1,000-yard rushing season by a Hurricane running back since 2016.
