EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. â Lukas Van Ness has three quarterback hits, three tackles for a loss and a sack, but the New York Jets lead the Packers 14-7 after three quarters.

Packers and Jets scoreless after first quarter
New York won the opening coin toss and elected to defer. The Packers went three-and-out on their first possession and had two players carted off on consecutive plays â receiver Jayden Reed (neck) and right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele (knee). Both were ruled out
On his first NFL snap, rookie receiver J. Michael Sturdivant forced a muffed punt of Isaiah Williams that the Jets recovered at their own 5-yard line.
New York gained its initial first down when Karl Brooks jumped offsides on third-and-4. Nickel cornerback Javon Bullard broke up a third-and-9 deep ball for Adonai Mitchell but was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after the play.
The Packers forced a punt but started at their own 8-yard line after a holding penalty. Green Bay lost a yard on a screen to Skyy Moore and punted after going three-and-out. New York took over at its 29 after a 60-yard Daniel Whelan punt and Jets penalty for block in the back.
Bullard nearly picked off Geno Smith after reading a deep corner route but couldn't bring it in.
Kaleb Johnson gained four yards on his first career with the Packers but the offense went three-and-out again after Zareye'h Thomas broke up an out to Watson. Sturdivant forced another muff on the next punt. Jets took over at their 13 after an invalid fair catch.
Lukas Van Ness tackled Breece Hall for a 3-yard loss on first down and then sacked Smith for a loss of four on third-and-13 to seal the three-and-out. Green Bay took over at its 36 after a 58-yard Austin McNamara punt.
The first quarter ended with Johnson gaining 12 up the middle.

At halftime, Packers and Jets tied at 7
Green Bay went empty and Jordan Love found Watson over the middle for a 20-yard pickup to the Jets' 30. A 5-yard MarShawn Lloyd run and 7-yard Johnson gain moved Green Bay into New York's red zone.
A holding penalty on Jacob Monk moved the Packers back 10 yards. Watson gained 13 yards a quick pass on the next play. Lloyd gained seven yards up the middle to convert the first down.
On second-and-goal, Lloyd caught a screen play and turned inside for his first NFL touchdown to put the Packers up 7-0 with 9 minutes, 35 seconds left in the first half.
New York started from its 30 and converted a third-and-11 with a 16-yard pass to Garrett Wilson in the middle of the field. Keisean Nixon was flagged for defensive pass interference against Mitchell at the Green Bay 21.
A 14-yard out to Mitchell set up Braelon Allen's 6-yard TD run to tie the game at 7 with 6:04 left in the first half.
Moore returned the ensuing kickoff 44 yards to the Green Bay 46. Johnson fumbled his first carry of the drive. Love recovered it after an 8-yard loss.
Tucker Kraft gained five yards on a quick screen. He was ruled down and the Jets unsuccessfully challenged whether he fumbled on the play. New York played the final 4:14 without a timeout.
The Packers punted after Love's third-and-13 pass to Bo Melton fell incomplete. New York started at its 10 after a holding penalty on the touchback.
Smith had time to throw on third-and-11 and found Mitchell for 14 yards. The first half reached the two-minute warning after a 5-yard pass to Jeremy Rucker.
Bullard tackled Hall for a 3-yard loss on a screen pass and time expired in the first half shortly thereafter.

Jets lead Packers 14-7 after three quarters
Guard Aaron Banks (toe) and defensive tackle Anthony Campbell (ankle) were announced as questionable coming out of halftime. Donovan Jennings replaced Banks at left guard.
Wilson caught a 17-yard pass to move the Jets across midfield. Van Ness and Zaire Franklin combined for a 3-yard tackle for a loss of Hall on second-and-6. Van Ness pressured Smith into throwing the ball away on third down.
Green Bay started from its own 3 after Dani Dennis-Sutton was called for unnecessary roughness on the punt, moving the ball half the distance to the goal line.
A 3-yard Lloyd run and 8-yard pass to Golden on a stop route gave the Packers a first down. A defensive pass interference penalty on Brandon Stephens against Golden resulted in a 23-yard penalty and first down at the Green Bay 37.
Holding and false start penalties immediately pushed the Packers back to first-and-25. Green Bay recovered a strip sack of Love, who came up favoring his hand.
The Packers were facing a third-and-19 before an illegal hands to face penalty on Kingsley Enagbare gave them a first down. Green Bay gained just one more yard and was forced to punt.
New York started at its 30. Karl Brooks nearly had a sack of Smith on third-and-4 but he squirmed free for six yards and the first down. After the Jets gained just 15 yards on the first 15 carries, Breece Hall gained 14 yards on a pitch left and then Isaiah Williams picked up 14 on a reversal right.
An 8-yard pass to Allen and roughing the passer penalty on Van Ness made it first-and-goal from the 5. Wilson caught a touchdown off a crosser on the next play to give New York a 14-7 lead with 2:30 left in the third quarter.
The Packers went three-and-out after Johnson was tackled for a loss of third yards on first down and Love's third-and-3 pass fell short of Watson. Jennings has a hand injury and is questionable to return.
The third quarter ended with Hall busting a screen for 43 yards on third-and-12.
