GREEN BAY – The Packers currently have two players ranked among the top 10 vote-getters at their respective positions for this year's Pro Bowl Games, the NFL announced Wednesday.
Keisean Nixon is second among return specialists, while Rashan Gary sits eighth among outside linebackers.
Packers fans are encouraged to vote for Pro Bowl participants through Dec. 25.
Despite working on a snap count earlier this season, Gary leads the Packers' defense with nine sacks and 17 quarterback hits, along with two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Nixon, a first-team All-Pro kick returner a year ago, leads the league in kickoff return yards (622) and kickoff return average (27.0) among qualifying returners. He also has 11 punt returns for 89 yards (8.1 yards per return).
During the final two weeks of voting (Dec. 11-25), fans can vote directly on "X" (formerly Twitter) by tweeting the first and last name of the player, tagging the player's official Twitter handle or creating a hashtag including the player's first and last name.
All three of these methods must include the hashtag: #ProBowlVote. During the final two days (Dec. 24-25), social votes will count as double.
The Pro Bowl Games will be held in Orlando on Feb. 1-4.
