GREEN BAY – The Packers have ruled out receivers Christian Watson (hamstring) and Randall Cobb (ankle), and center/guard Jake Hanson (biceps) for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders.

This will be the second consecutive game Watson has missed since injuring his hamstring against the New York Giants in London. Cobb didn't practice this week after injuring his ankle against the New York Jets this past Sunday.

Sammy Watkins' availability for Sunday remains unclear. The veteran receiver, who returned to practice this week, is eligible to be activated off injured reserve this week after missing the past four games with a hamstring injury.

Watkins doesn't have a game status for Sunday because he's not currently on the 53-man roster.

"It's kind of the up in the air right now, I'd say," said Head Coach Matt LaFleur of Watkins' potential availability. "He's gotten through practice the last couple days. So, we'll see how he responds. Certainly, I think we'd like to get him out there, but at the same time, you don't want to put a guy at further risk. So, we'll just kind of see where he's at."

Behind starters Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs, the Packers are carrying Amari Rodgers and rookie Samori Toure on the active roster. Rodgers caught one pass for 14 yards last week against the Jets, while Toure has yet to be active this season.

The Packers also have Juwann Winfree available on the practice squad, but the third-year receiver would need to be signed to the 53 in order to play after Green Bay exhausted his three gameday elevations for the season.

Guard/tackle Elgton Jenkins (knee) took a rest day on Friday but is expected to play after not receiving a game-status designation.

In addition to Jenkins, the following Packers players also are expected to play: quarterback Aaron Rodgers (right thumb), tackle David Bakhtiari (knee), linebacker Rashan Gary (toe) and tight end Marcedes Lewis (veteran rest).

Washington has ruled out quarterback Carson Wentz (right finger), receiver Dyami Brown (groin), cornerback William Jackson (back), tight end Logan Thomas (calf), and running back Jonathan Williams (knee).

The Commanders also listed three players as questionable: tight end John Bates (hamstring), tackle Sam Cosmi (finger) and first-round receiver Jahan Dotson (hamstring), who's missed two games. Safety Percy Butler (quadriceps) didn't receive a game-status designation and are expected to be available.
