GREEN BAY – The Packers have listed cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin) as questionable for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.
Tackle Caleb Jones (illness) has been ruled out. The undrafted rookie didn't practice this week.
Alexander played six snaps before exiting after the first defensive series in Sunday's 14-12 win over Tampa Bay. He returned to practice in a limited capacity Friday after sitting out of Thursday's padded practice.
Starting left tackle David Bakhtiari (knee) returned to practice Friday after receiving a Thursday rest day and was not given a game status. Both Bakhtiari and guard/tackle Elgton Jenkins (knee) are expected to play.
Bakhtiari played 35 snaps in his 2022 season debut against the Buccaneers, while alternating series with Yosh Nijman at left tackle. Head Coach Matt LaFleur said before practice Friday that the Packers' plans for Bakhtiari remain fluid.
"I trust Dave, we trust Dave and we're in constant communication in terms of what is the best plan for him to try and get him back to where he can go out there and play a full game," LaFleur said.
In addition to Bakhtiari and Jenkins, five other Packers players did not receive game statuses and are expected to be available: running back AJ Dillon (knee), linebacker Jonathan Garvin (hip), receiver Allen Lazard (ankle), tight end Marcedes Lewis (groin) and receiver Christian Watson (hamstring).
New England ruled out quarterback Mac Jones (ankle), defensive lineman Lawrence Guy (shoulder) and offensive lineman Yodny Cajuste (thumb). Patriots head coach Bill Belichick told reporters earlier this week that if Jones is out, veteran Brian Hoyer will start at quarterback for New England.
The Patriots listed seven others as questionable: Safeties Joshuah Bledsoe (groin), Kyle Dugger (knee) and Adrian Phillips (ribs), defensive lineman Davon Godchaux (back), linebacker Raekwon McMillan (thumb), receiver Jakobi Meyers (knee) and cornerback Jalen Mills (hamstring).
