The Green Bay Packers placed TE Josiah Deguara (duh-gwa-rah) on injured reserve, placed C Jake Hanson on injured reserve–practice squad and signed WR Kalija Lipscomb to the practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

(kuh-lie-juh) Lipscomb (6-0, 205) is a rookie out of Vanderbilt that was originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted rookie free agent this past April and spent the first three weeks of the season on the Chiefs' practice squad. He appeared in 48 games with 25 starts in college, finishing No. 8 in school history with 2,356 career receiving yards, No. 5 with 198 receptions and No. 2 with 22 TD catches. Lipscomb will wear No. 18 for the Packers.
