GREEN BAY – Once again, Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been named the FedEx Air and Ground Player of the Week for his performance in Green Bay's 27-19 win over Carolina in Week 8.
Love, who also won the award following the Packers' Week 5 rout of the Chicago Bears, completed 30 of 41 passes for 288 yards with three touchdowns and one interception (106.6 passer rating) against the Panthers.
His 30 completions (30) and three TD passes were both season highs while Love's completions were his third most in a game in his career.
Love's 2,246 passing yards are the most by a Green Bay quarterback through the first eight games since Aaron Rodgers (2,253 in 2020). Love's 16 TD passes are the most through eight games since Rodgers posted 17 in 2021.
Every Player of the Week honor will result in donations of $2,000 from FedEx in the names of the two winning players ($4,000 total) to Feeding America for a local food bank in the winning player's city.
