GREEN BAY – Packers defensive lineman Micah Parsons has been named first-team All-Pro while safety Xavier McKinney was voted to the second team, as determined by a vote of 50 media members of the Associated Press.

Parsons received 19 first-team votes as an edge rusher, finishing with 68 total points. McKinney received seven first-team votes as a safety, finishing with 31 total points.

First-place votes are worth three points and second-place votes worth one.

It's the fourth time in Parsons' five seasons he's been voted to the AP All-Pro team. He earned first-team honors in 2021-22 and second-team recognition in 2023.

It's McKinney's second consecutive selection. He followed up a first-team All-Pro selection last year with 107 tackles, 10 passes defensed and two interceptions in 2025 while playing a team-leading 1,053 defensive snaps.

Parsons was acquired from Dallas in an August trade that sent defensive lineman Kenny Clark and two first-round picks to the Cowboys.

Prior to tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in Denver, Parsons tallied 41 tackles, 12½ sacks, 26 quarterback hits and 83 pressures, according to NFL Next Gen Stats, in 14 games for Green Bay.

"I just have so much respect for the guy, and I'm sad for the guy," said defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley shortly after Parsons' knee injury.

"But at the same time, knowing who he is, just wait until you guys see how hard he works to come back, how fast he probably comes back. If I were a betting man, I would bet that he comes back even better and probably breaks the sack record next year. So I'm going to put that on Micah and myself, and you guys can put that out there."

With a 2½-sack performance in Detroit on Thanksgiving, Parsons became the only NFL player (since 1982) to register 12-plus sacks in each of his first five NFL seasons (2021-25).

With 65 career sacks, Parsons has the fifth-most sacks by a player in the first five years of their career (since 1982). Only Reggie White (81), J.J. Watt (74.5 sacks), T.J. Watt (72), and Derrick Thomas (66) have more.

Earlier this month, Parsons was selected to his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl (2021-2025), becoming the first defensive player to be named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first five career seasons since former Los Angeles Rams DL Aaron Donald (10).

"He's a special, special football player," said Head Coach Matt LaFleur last month. "I haven't seen too many guys like him. He's one of those guys that you better have a plan for or he's gonna make you pay."

Parsons is the first Packers edge rusher to be named first-team All-Pro since Za'Darius Smith in 2020.

Other Packers players who received All-Pro votes included punter Daniel Whelan (who received three first-place votes), right tackle Zach Tom, receiver Christian Watson, safety Evan Williams, linebacker Edgerrin Cooper, cornerback Keisean Nixon, and long snapper Matt Orzech.
