GREEN BAY – For the second time this season, Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been named the FedEx Air and Ground Player of the Week.
Love completed 18 of 30 passes for 234 yards and tied his career high with four touchdown passes in a 31-24 road win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.
Love previously was named the FedEx Air and Ground Player of Week 8 after throwing for 360 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Chicago running back D'Andre Swift also was honored after rushing for 125 yards on 18 carries and scoring two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) during the Bears' 24-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles last Friday.
Every Player of the Week honor will result in donations of $2,000 from FedEx in the names of the two winning players ($4,000 total) to Feeding America for a local food bank in the winning player's city.
