GREEN BAY – Packers running back Emanuel Wilson has been nominated for the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week for Week 12.
Fans are encouraged to vote for Wilson here.
Making his first NFL start on Sunday in place of an injured Josh Jacobs (knee), Wilson rushed for a career-high 107 yards and two touchdowns to lift Green Bay to a dominant 23-6 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
The third-year running back is just the second Packer since the 1970 merger (Samkon Gado, Nov. 13, 2005) to post 100-plus rushing yards and multiple rushing TDs in his first NFL start.
Wilson added 18 receiving yards to finish with a career-best 125 yards from scrimmage. As a team, Green Bay rushed 42 times against Minnesota for 146 yards.
The other nominees are Detroit quarterback Jameis Winston, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott, Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford, Detroit running back Jahmyr Gibbs and Seattle receiver Jaxson Smith-Njigba.
