Mike Owen

Biography

Mike Owen enters his 14th season with the Packers' player personnel department and first as a national scout after being promoted on June 1, 2025. He joined the team on May 23, 2012, and served as a college scout for his first 13 seasons in Green Bay.

Prior to joining the Packers, Owen spent two seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Riverhead (N.Y.) High School, where he coached the tight ends and helped with the linebackers. He was a four-year letterman (2006-09) at Syracuse University, where he played tight end, defensive end and linebacker during his career. Elected a team captain as a senior, Owen finished his career with 36 receptions for 319 yards (8.9 avg.) and three touchdowns.
