The Green Bay Packers signed QB Desmond Ridder to the practice squad on Dec 31, 2025.
Ridder (6-3, 211), a fourth-year player out of the University of Cincinnati, was originally selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round (No. 74 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. He has played in 25 games with 18 starts for the Falcons (2022-23) and Las Vegas Raiders (2024), completing 374 of 588 passes (63.6 pct.) for 4,002 yards (6.8 avg.) and 16 touchdowns with 14 interceptions for a passer rating of 82.6. Ridder has also registered 293 rushing yards and five TDs on 78 carries (3.8 avg.). He has also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals (2024), Cincinnati Bengals (2025) and Minnesota Vikings (2025).
