Biography
The Green Bay Packers signed WR Jakobie Keeney-James to the practice squad on September 23, 2025.
Keeney-James (6-0, 190), a rookie out of the University of Massachusetts, originally signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025, and was with Detroit until being released at the end of training camp. In college, he spent five seasons at Eastern Washington (2019-23) and one season at UMass (2024). Overall, Keeney-James played in 49 games, recording 111 receptions for 1,664 yards (15.0 avg.) and 10 touchdowns. He also carried the ball once for 6 yards and returned five kickoffs for 83 yards (16.6 avg.).
