Daly (6-2, 248) is a sixth-year player out of the University of Notre Dame who originally signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent on April 16, 2018, but was released after training camp. He went on to spend time in the Alliance of American Football (2019) and the XFL (2020) before signing with the Detroit Lions on May 4, 2021. Daly played in 42 games for the Lions from 2021-23. Over the past two seasons (2024-25), he appeared in 34 regular-season games and two postseason contests for the Chicago Bears. Daly spent this past offseason and training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
