Dominate? A win is good enough

We're all in this together

Michael from Jacksonville, FL

Vic, A big thank you to all of the writers, video staff and photographers of packers.com. Regardless of what happens Sunday, it has been, yet, another great year. Merry Christmas!

Where do you think you're going? Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family football season. No, no. We're all in this together.

Jeff from Minocqua, WI

Thinking outside the box, how would Peppers' skill set work at ILB?

When a guy is as athletic as Peppers is, he can play anywhere, including forward on the basketball team. He would've probably been a killer strong safety.

Bruce from Powell River, BC

Regarding Peyton Manning on Monday night: "I hear old age a comin', it's comin down the track, I'd like to be a young man, but I'll never get that back." Thoughts?

It's a young man's game. Can he turn the clock back one more time?

Rich from Pueblo, CO

I can see the Packers dominating the Lions just as they have every other foe to come into Lambeau this year. What do you believe?

I don't need dominance. Just win, baby. I think the Packers will.

Justin from Sacramento, CA

Do you think the NFL should rename the NFL playoffs something less generic? I think they should name it the Lombardi Trophy Tournament. Thoughts?

That's borderline chortling, and this is not the week for chortling.

Ben from Chicago, IL

Vic, the Chicago FOX affiliate is apparently going to show the Cardinals-49ers rather than the Packers-Lions game – even though Packers-Lions has greater local interest. How do the networks decide these things? And is there any way (any effective way, that is) for local viewers to ask for a different game?

This is, yet, another example of the media bias against the Packers. You can call the station, but it won't do any good. They're part of the plot to make our greatness less great.

Reza from Janesville, WI

Vic, love your column; read it all the time. I think you are getting more ornery as the season goes on. Keep up the good work.

It's Christmas and we're all suffering, Audrey, I mean Reza.
