With the National Football League's regular season ready to kick off next week, the Green Bay Packers are bringing the spirit of Lambeau Field and American football to Europe, with special "Packers Huddle" free fan gatherings planned for Dublin, London and Berlin this fall.

Though the Packers will not be playing games overseas this year, Packers fans in Ireland, the U.K. and Germany can still experience the excitement and the camaraderie of football season, with each Saturday Huddle event preceding an international NFL game in each respective city on Sunday. Each Packers Huddle event will feature opportunities to meet and take photos with Packers legends, win prizes and enjoy a taste of Wisconsin, with fan-favorite foods inspired by a traditional Packers tailgate available for sampling. Fans can also expect live entertainment at each venue, with music, games and interviews.

The Packers Huddle in Dublin will take place on 27 September at Sinnotts Bar (King St., S, Dublin) from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The London Packers Huddle will take place on 11 October at Redwood (London Bridge Station) from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

The final Packers Huddle event will be a two-day celebration in Berlin on 8-9 November, starting on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at LVL World of Gaming (Schützenstraße 73, 10117 Berlin). Saturday's event will feature a friendly Madden Tournament, a quiz show with prizes, Packers Pro Shop retail pop-up store and a Packers history documentary screening. The festivities will continue on Sunday with a Huddle "Tailgate" party from 9 a.m. to noon at BRLO Charlottenburg (Giesebrechtstraße 15, 10629 Berlin), featuring an authentic outdoor "tailgate" experience complete with cornhole, jenga, spirited face painters and special brunch menu.

Fans planning to attend the event(s) are encouraged to register in the coming weeks. For RSVP links and further information, please keep an eye on the Packers' social media channels. Each event is free, with food and beverage available for purchase.

In April, the Packers were awarded marketing rights in Ireland, the United Kingdom and Germany, through the NFL's Global Markets Program, allowing the organization to pursue specialized international marketing efforts including events and programming, targeted digital initiatives, specially curated content and other fan engagement opportunities.

The team aims to pursue activities across their international markets that will connect new audiences with Wisconsin's unique charm, ownership structure and Midwestern character. In Germany, the Packers have also launched their German language Instagram account, with specialized, curated content tailored specifically to connect with German Packers fans. For more information, please visit packers.com/international.

First launched in 2022, the Global Markets Program is part of the NFL's long-term, strategic effort to enable clubs to build their brands globally while driving fan growth beyond the U.S. NFL clubs can apply for rights to international markets by submitting proposals to the International Committee for review each spring. Clubs are awarded rights for at least a five-year term through the program, and during this period can pursue activities in that international market that are consistent with what they can do in their home market.

About the Green Bay Packers: The Green Bay Packers, an iconic professional American football team established in 1919, are the only community-owned team in U.S. professional sports, with more than half a million fans owning shares in the club. Remarkably, though the team plays in Green Bay, Wisconsin—by far the smallest city in the National Football League with just over 100,000 residents—the Packers are the league's most successful franchise, with 13 championships, including four Super Bowls.

The club's legendary home stadium, Lambeau Field, has sold out every game since 1960 and is celebrated as one of the best gameday experiences in sports. Generations of Packers season ticket holders are known to warmly welcome all fans to their pregame tailgate parties. The entire state of Wisconsin rallies behind the Packers, with fans proudly referring to themselves as "Cheeseheads" in a nod to the state's dairy heritage, made famous by the foam cheese hat now recognized worldwide as a symbol of the team. The Packers are more than an American football club; they are a beloved tradition that unites a community, a state and fans around the world.
