GREEN BAY – Receiver Christian Watson took a quick third-down slant to the end zone for a 41-yard touchdown to extend the Packers' lead to 21-14 over the Chicago Bears after three quarters.

Packers and Bears play a scoreless first quarter
Green Bay won the toss and deferred. The Bears went three-and-out on their first possession after Caleb Williams missed two receivers high on second and third down.
Xavier McKinney nearly sacked Williams on second-and-5, but right tackle Darnell Wright was still called for a hold. Green Bay started at its 11 after a Tory Taylor punt and block in the back.
In his first game since Week 2, Jayden Reed touched the ball three times on the Packers' first seven plays. He converted a third-and-1 with a 2-yard play action pass.
Josh Jacobs picked up three yards on third-and-3 from the Chicago 46. Emanuel Wilson gained another six before the Packers went hurry-up and Montez Sweat sacked Jordan Love for a 14-yard loss.
C.J. Gardner-Johnson picked off Love on the next play and returned the ball to the Packers' 36.
On first down, it was initially ruled a completed pass to tight end Colston Loveland, but Head Coach Matt LaFleur challenged after safety Evan Williams punched the ball out. It was overturned to an incompletion upon review.
Chicago didn't get any points off the takeaway after a false start penalty and Micah Parsons forcing a scrambling Williams to throw the ball away on third-and-15. The Packers once again took over at their 11.
Green Bay opened the drive with a 5-yard Jacobs run and a 19-yard slant to Christian Watson to the Green Bay 35. On the next play, Love aired out a deep ball to tight end Luke Musgrave that was overturned upon a Chicago challenge.
A facemask penalty on Aaron Banks backed Green Bay up 15 yards. Green Bay gained six yards on a quick pass to Reed but was forced to punt after Love's third-and-19 pass for Romeo Doubs sailed high.
The Bears took over at their 25 after a 55-yard Daniel Whelan punt and 6-yard return. D'Andre Swift picked up the initial first down after gaining 12 yards on back-to-back carries, but that's all the Bears would get. Parsons pressured Williams into another throwaway on third-and-7.
The Packers took over at their 20 after a touchback. The first quarter ended on a 7-yard Jacobs run.

Packers lead Bears 14-3 at halftime
John FitzPatrick powered through Gardner-Johnson for eight yards on first-and-10 from the Green Bay 32. After Jacobs broke through for seven yards on third-and-1, FitzPatrick caught a 6-yard pass to move the Packers past midfield.
On third-and-2, Darian Kinnard reported eligible as a sixth offensive lineman and the Packers ran a play-action pass for Josh Whyle that gained 21 yards to the Chicago 23.
Green Bay converted its fifth third down with a 23-yard touchdown pass from Love to Christian Watson to put the Packers up 7-0 with nine minutes, 19 seconds left in the half.
Williams rolled right on third-and-3 and connected with Luther Burden to push the ball to the Chicago 45. An illegal hands to face penalty aided the Bears on their next first down to move the ball across midfield.
Williams ran a 5-yard bootleg on fourth-and-1 after three Kyle Monangai runs gained nine yards.
Monangai gained just a yard on first down at the 34, but the Bears moved into the red zone because of an unnecessary roughness penalty.
Defensive lineman Karl Brooks tackled D.J. Moore for a 4-yard loss on the next play. A 6-yard Monangai run brought the clock down to the two-minute warning.
Chicago settled for a 33-yard Cairo Santos field goal to cut Green Bay's lead to 7-3 with 1:14 left in the first half. The Packers started at their own 40 after Santos' kickoff fell short of the landing zone.
The Packers used their first timeout after a 12-yard pass to Musgrave. With plenty of time to throw, Love aired out a 45-yard touchdown pass to Bo Melton to put the Packers up 14-3 with 38 seconds left in the second quarter. It was the longest catch of Melton's career and his first touchdown since 2023.
Chicago gained 12 yards on a pass to Loveland but lost nine after Kingsley Enagbare sacked Williams on the next play. The Bears used their first timeout with 21 seconds left in the half. Green Bay called timeout after Swift picked up nine yards on third-and-18.

Packers lead Bears 21-14 after three quarters
Green Bay went three-and-out to start the second half after Love threw the ball away on first down, Jacobs lost a yard on second down and Melton was flagged for offensive pass interference on third down.
Chicago took over at its 36 after Whelan's 40-yard punt bounced out of bounds. The Bears gained the initial first down on a 6-yard pass to Olamide Zaccheaus and a 6-yard Williams scramble.
Loveland caught a 10-yard pass to the Green Bay 37 on third-and-5. A 26-yard pass to Cole Kmet set up first-and-10 at the Packers' 11.
The Bears scored on a 1-yard touchdown pass to Zaccheaus to cut Green Bay's lead to 14-11 with 8:20 left in the third quarter after Monangai's successful two-point conversion.
The Packers started at their 37 after Melton's 30-yard kickoff return. Reed gained 15 yards on an end-around to start the drive.
On third-and-3, Watson caught a quick slant from Love and outran Gardner-Johnson to the end zone for a 41-yard touchdown to extend Green Bay's lead to 21-11 with 6:10 left in the third quarter.
Chicago started at its 40 after Brandon McManus' kickoff went out of bounds. Williams opened with a 16-yard pass to Kmet on a rollout and then hit Burden for 18 yards to the Green Bay 26.
The Chicago drive stalled after a Burden reverse gained just three yards and Green Bay blew up a receiver screen. Santos made a 41-yard field goal to cut the Packers' lead to 21-14 with 3:15 left in the third quarter.
The Packers went three-and-out after a deep ball for Doubs fell incomplete and Love settled for a 6-yard checkdown to Chris Brooks on third-and-10. Chicago started at its 17 after Whelan's 50-yard punt wasn't returned.
