Letters To Majik

Why is Walter Williams not running the ball? The guy is awesome. He can contribute a lot to the running game. - John, Boston, Mass.

John, I'm sure Walt will get his chance in the up coming weeks. He will have to split time with Tony Fisher and Samkon Gado, who had a very solid game versus Pittsburgh.

Would the Packers ever consider trading for Terrell Owens? I know he's not the best person in the world, but it sounds like he respects Brett Favre and may be able to get along with everyone in Green Bay. Since nobody wants him and the wide receiver corps is hurting, it doesn't sound like too bad an option when your 1-7. - Craig, Gladstone, Mich.

I certainly hope not. T.O. is the most selfish player that we have probably ever seen. This guy, regardless of how good he is, brings nothing but trouble and problems to every organization that he's been with. I sincerely doubt that the Packers or any team for that matter will ever pay this guy what he thinks he deserves. It's a shame for him because he is a great player. He's going to learn a very expensive lesson. It serves him right.

Statistically Brett Favre is having one of his better seasons with the exception of his interceptions. Do you think he has would have had as many interceptions at this point in the season if Javon, Fergie, and TMurph are all healthy? Is the inexperience at wide receiver position causing the high interception count? - Tim, Ironwood, Mich.

Tim, I think that Brett has more interceptions than he would like at this point for three main reasons. 1) The team is usually behind and trying to play catch up. 2) The offense has been too one dimensional without the ability to run the ball as effective as it should. 3) Not having all your starters at the wide out position also hurts. Favre has tried to carry this team on his shoulders all season. It's a tough job without all your regular players available. However, I can't say enough about the players who have tried to fill in for the injured starters. They have been giving great effort.
