Letters To Majik

Hello Don, does throwing the ball 50 times-a-game have any ill effect on your grip or your arm strength late in the game? Thanks for your expertise! You were one of my favorites! - Jerry, Erie, Pa.

Jerry, throwing the ball 50 times a game will have ill effects on your entire body because there's a good chance a quarterback will take plenty of hits throwing that many times.

Majik, I love your letters, and my question is where do you see us as a team next year? I still love the Packers. With all the injuries and the holdouts this year, where do you see us next year as a team? - Blake, Austin, Texas

Blake, there are still so many questions to answer for next year's team. Will Brett be back? Will Javon Walker and Ahman Green come back healthy? I'm sure this off-season will be very busy for the Packers, but I'm confident they will address and improve many of the team needs.

From what little of the game I could get (highlights only), it appeared that Brett Favre was being hurried or hit quite often Sunday. Is this an offensive line problem, a running back "missed" assignment problem or do the coaches need to try to protect Favre a bit more? -Dan, Springfield, MO.

Dan, I'm sure there were a few missed assignments in the pass protection on Sunday, but you also have to give a lot of credit to the Bears defense. They have been pressuring and sacking quarterbacks all season long. They are a very talented group.
