Packers and Steelers face off in primetime

The Green Bay Packers travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

• It marks the second Sunday Night Football game for the Packers at Pittsburgh (Week 12 in 2017).
• The Packers are 20-17 against the Steelers (including the postseason).
• Green Bay is 7-9 at Pittsburgh and looking for its first win in the city since 1970.
• Seven of the last eight games between the two teams in Pittsburgh have been decided by single digits.

They surpassed Jim Irwin and Max McGee for the most regular-season and postseason games broadcast for the Packers with 313 at the 2018 season opener against Chicago.

• Led Green Bay to the playoffs last season for the fifth time in six years (tied for No. 3 in the NFL over that span), guiding the two youngest playoff teams in the NFL over the past 45 seasons in 2023 (weighted age of 25.25) and 2024 (25.72).
• In his first season leading the Packers in 2019, became the first coach in club history to guide the team to the playoffs in his debut season. Also led the largest one-year win improvement in team history (plus-seven wins).

MIKE TOMLIN…In his 19th season as the Steelers' 16th head coach.

• Became the youngest head coach in NFL history to both coach in and win a Super Bowl when he led the Steelers to a 27-23 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII (36 years, 323 days), a record that held until it was eclipsed by Sean McVay in Super Bowl LVI (36 years, 20 days). By winning the Super Bowl in only his second season as a head coach, he also became the fastest to win a Super Bowl title in Steelers history.
• Has led Pittsburgh to seven AFC North titles and has guided the Steelers to the playoffs 12 times, including two trips to the Super Bowl (XLIII and XLV).
• Has won at least five home games in 17 of his first 18 years. In his 18 seasons, has never had a losing record.

• Green Bay and Pittsburgh first met in 1933, and the Packers rattled off nine wins in a row (1933-46) to begin the regular-season series. The Packers currently hold the all-time regular-season series lead with a 19-17 record.
