GREEN BAY – The Packers have listed five questionable and ruled out two for Sunday night's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Among those questionable are defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (knee), receiver Christian Watson (knee), kicker Brandon McManus (right quadricep), receiver Matthew Golden (hip) and defensive lineman Warren Brinson (hamstring).
Defensive lineman Lukas Van Ness (knee) and receiver Dontayvion Wicks (calf) have been ruled out after neither practiced this week.
Golden and Brinson were added to the injury report Friday. Watson is currently on the physically unable to return list and must be added to the 53-man roster to play Sunday.
The Packers opened Watson's 21-day return window on Oct. 6.
"A lot of it is just getting reacclimated," said Head Coach Matt LaFleur of Watson before Friday's practice. "You're talking about a long layoff without football, just trying to build him up so he can handle the demands of what are going to be placed upon him on gameday."
Wyatt hasn't played since injuring his knee in the Packers' 40-40 tie with the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 28 but returned to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday.
The former first-round pick was off to a solid start before the injury, recording six tackles, five quarterback hits, two sacks and two pass deflections in 151 snaps over Wyatt's first four games.
"He makes my life easier, he understands how to rush, how to play," said defensive lineman Micah Parsons of Wyatt on Thursday. "His energy's contagious, he sets the standard in the room, you can tell he learned after some really good guys, and he just carries it with him every day."
McManus has missed the past two games after straining his quad in practice on Oct. 8. He returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday and confirmed afterwards he did indeed kick.
Second-year veteran Lucas Havrisik made all 10 of his kicks in McManus' stead the past two weeks, including a franchise-record 61-yard field goal before halftime against the Cardinals.
"He kicked well," said LaFleur of McManus on Friday. "My conversation with him (Friday) morning, he said he feels great. So, again, that will be a medical decision at the end of the day."
Green Bay didn't issue a game status for the following players who will be available: running back Josh Jacobs (calf), tackle Zach Tom (back), guard Aaron Banks (groin), tackle Anthony Belton (ankle), cornerback Nate Hobbss (knee), safety Xavier McKinney (ankle/knee), tackle/guard Jordan Morgan (knee), linebacker Quay Walker (neck) and safety Evan Williams (back).
The Steelers have ruled out receiver Scotty Miller (finger) and listed center Zach Frazier (calf), quarterback Will Howard (right hand) and linebacker Malik Harrison (knee) questionable.
Howard and Harrison are both on injured reserve with a designation to return and will need to be added to the 53-man roster to play Sunday.
The Steelers didn't issue a game status for the following players who will be available: outside linebacker T.J. Watt (rest/hip), receivers Calvin Austin III (shoulder) and DK Metcalf (rest) and defensive tackle Cameron Heyward (rest).
