GREEN BAY – Packers running back Aaron Jones was voted the FedEx Ground Player of the Week award for his performance in Dallas.

As a result of a fan vote, Jones won the Ground Player of the Week award while Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson was named the Air Player of the Week.

Jones tied a franchise record in the Packers' 34-24 victory over the Cowboys by rushing for four touchdowns, becoming just the fourth player in Green Bay history to accomplish the feat and the first in nearly 20 years.

Hall of Famer Jim Taylor did it three times, while Terdell Middleton and Dorsey Levens also had four rushing TDs in a game, the latter being the most recent in the 1999 regular-season finale.

Jones finished the game with 107 rushing yards on 19 carries for the fifth 100-yard rushing performance of his career and second at AT&T Stadium, where he recorded his first as a rookie in 2017.

The other nominees for the weekly award were Carolina RB Christian McCaffrey, who had 19 carries for 176 yards and two TDs in the Panthers' 34-27 win over the Jaguars, and Oakland rookie RB Josh Jacobs, who had 26 carries for 123 yards and two TDs in the Raiders' win in London over the Bears.

Jones also currently leads the NFL with eight rushing TDs on the year, the most in Packers history through the first five games of a season. He broke the previous mark of seven held by Taylor and Ahman Green.

The Green Bay Packers traveled to Dallas to take on the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in a Week 5 matchup.
