Biography
The Green Bay Packers signed DB Jaylin Simpson on August 18, 2025.
Simpson (6-0, 180), a first-year player, was originally selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the fifth round (No. 164 overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Auburn. He spent his rookie year on the Colts' practice squad before being signed to the New York Jets' active roster, but was inactive for the final four games of the season. In college, Simpson played in 47 games with 23 starts and earned second-team All-SEC honors in 2023. He will wear No. 38 for the Packers.
