Packers and Giants tied at 13 at halftime

QB Jordan Love returns; RB Emanuel Wilson scores go-ahead TD

East Rutherford, N.J. – Emanuel Wilson and Christian Watson each scored a touchdown, as the Packers and New York Giants went into halftime tied at 13.

Quarterback Jordan Love (left shoulder) returned to the game in the second quarter. Running back Josh Jacobs is questionable to return with a knee injury.

Giants lead Packers 7-0 after first quarter

New York won the opening coin toss and elected to receive. On third-and-5, Giants quarterback found an open Wan'Dale Robinson for 20 yards to the Green Bay 20.

Carrington Valentine nearly picked off Winston on a first-and-10 pass intended for tight end Theo Johnson. On the next play, Isaiah Hodgins caught a 20-yard pass to set up first-and-goal.

Two plays later, Devin Singletary ran in a 5-yard touchdown to put the Giants up 7-0 over Green Bay with 10 minutes, 35 seconds left in the first quarter.

On the Packers' first play, Josh Jacobs gained seven yards on first-and-5 after an encroachment penalty. It was initially ruled he gained 15 yards on his next carry. The Giants lost a timeout after interim coach Mike Kafka unsuccessfully challenged that Jacobs stepped out of bounds.

The drive stalled there after Luke Musgrave lost a yard on a fumble and Romeo Doubs dropped a crosser from Jordan Love on third-and-11. The Giants started at their own 15 after Daniel Whelan's 34-yard punt.

An illegal block in the back on Hodgins pushed the Giants back to their own 8. Valentine nearly picked off Winston again but couldn't haul it in. Green Bay started its second series at its 38.

Jacobs gained six yards on a pass from Love and then converted the first down with a 2-yard run on third-and-1. Bo Melton gained 17 yards on an end-around to the New York 34. Green Bay was backed up 10 yards after a holding penalty on Rasheed Walker.

Jordan Love scrambled for four yards but was injured on the play. He went to the locker room with a left shoulder injury. Malik Willis replaced him at quarterback. He gained 17 yards on a third-and-8 read-option to the New York 16. The first quarter ended with Green Bay facing second-and-4 from the Giants' 10.

Packers and Giants tied at 13 at halftime

Malik Willis connected with Christian Watson for a 1-yard touchdown to start the second quarter. The Giants maintained a 7-6 lead over Green Bay with 13:54 left in the first half after Lucas Havrisik missed the extra point wide right.

The Giants went three-and-out after Robinson bobbled a third-and-3 pass near the sideline.

Love returned to the game on the next series, but the Packers announced running back Josh Jacobs has a knee injury and is questionable to return.

Emanuel Wilson gained three yards on first down and Watson converted on third-and-7 with a 12-yard pass across the middle. Love rolled left and connected with an open Matthew Golden for 24-yard pickup.

Doubs converted a third-and-8 with eight yards on a shallow crosser to the New York 34. Love rolled right on second-and-8 and found Doubs for 22 yards to the Giants' 11.

Love audibled on the next play and Wilson ran up the middle for an 11-yard touchdown to put the Packers ahead 13-7 with 7:39 left in the first half. The 10-play, 84-yard drive lasted 4:48.

Green Bay had the Giants in third-and-12 after a false start penalty but yielded 20 yards to Tracy on a screen pass to midfield. Winston took a third-and-1 sneak for 10 yards to move inside the Packers' red zone. A 14-yard defensive pass interference penalty on Isaiah McDuffie set up first-and-goal at the Green Bay 1.

Singletary scored the touchdown two plays later, but the game remained tied at 13 with 1:11 remaining after Younghoe Koo missed a 48-yard extra point wide left after a chop block penalty.

Doubs caught a 10-yard pass on first down but was injured on the play. Green Bay was forced to use its second timeout because there was less than two minutes left in the first half. The Packers were forced to punt on fourth-and-10 with 25 seconds left.
