The Packers trailed by nine points at halftime and turned the game around in the second half, as QB Jordan Love got hot against his mentor Aaron Rodgers and led Green Bay to a 35-25 victory Sunday night at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.

With the win, the Packers improved to 5-1-1. The Steelers fell to 4-3.

Trailing 16-7 at the half, having missed two field goals and suffered a trio of three-and-outs on offense, the Packers went on a scoring binge starting midway through the third quarter.

Green Bay outscored Pittsburgh 28-3 until the Steelers added a touchdown with two minutes left.

Love at one point completed 20 passes in a row, tying Brett Favre's franchise record set in 2007. TE Tucker Kraft had a monster game, catching seven passes for 143 yards and two TDs, with 131 of his yards coming after the catch.

The Packers' defense also made things difficult for Rodgers, sacking him three times, with DL Rashan Gary getting two and DL Micah Parsons getting one. In the fourth quarter, the Packers also got a takeaway when LB Edgerrin Cooper forced a fumble that S Javon Bullard recovered.

When the Steelers scored their late TD, they had a chance to cut the deficit to eight points, but LB Ty'Ron Hopper broke up a two-point pass intended for TE Jonnu Smith, and that sealed the game.

Love finished 29-of-37 for 360 yards with three TDs and a 134.2 passer rating. In addition to Kraft's production, WR Christian Watson's 2025 debut produced four catches for 85 yards, and WR Romeo Doubs caught three passes for 44 yards. Rookie WR Savion Williams scored his first NFL TD on an 8-yard catch.

On the ground, RB Emanuel Wilson had 11 carries for 61 yards (adding 26 yards on three receptions for 87 total yards). RB Josh Jacobs had 13 carries for 33 yards and a score.

For the Steelers, Rodgers was 24-of-36 for 219 yards with two TDs and a 101.5 rating. WR Roman Wilson had four catches for 74 yards and a TD, with DK Metcalf adding five catches for 55 yards and a score. RB Jaylen Warren had 13 carries for 62 yards.

Here's a recap of all the action:

Packers lead Steelers 7-3 after first quarter

Pittsburgh won the coin toss and elected to defer. Christian Watson started in his first game since tearing his anterior cruciate ligament against Chicago in January.

Watson caught his first pass for five years on second-and-6, but Green Bay went three-and-out after Jordan Love missed Romeo Doubs low. Daniel Whelan's 56-yard punt pinned the Steelers back at their own 20.

On third-and-3, Aaron Rodgers found Roman Wilson for a 45-yard completion down the right sideline to the Packers' 28.

Green Bay's defense quickly recovered. After an offensive pass interference penalty on DK Metcalf, Edgerrin Cooper tackled Jaylen Warren for no gain on second-and-15 and Rashan Gary sacked Rodgers for a 5-yard loss on third down.

Chris Boswell salvaged the possession with a 56-yard field goal to give Pittsburgh a 3-0 lead with 8 minutes, 41 seconds left in the first quarter.

Savion Williams returned the kickoff 30 yards to the Green Bay 33. Romeo Doubs moved the Packers across midfield with a 24-yard reception over the middle.

Doubs also converted the next first down, plucking a second-and-5 throw from Love for a 6-yard pickup. A 13-yard flare to Malik Heath led to a Tucker Kraft 19-yard touchdown off a catch and run to put Green Bay up 7-3 with 5:05 left in the first.

Pittsburgh went three-and-out on its next possession with Edgerrin Cooper nearly intercepting Rodgers on a pass to Calvin Austin in the flat.

After two Emanuel Wilson touches netted 10 yards, Tucker Kraft extended for 33 yards on an underneath pass to the Steelers' 39.

TE Tucker Kraft

Steelers lead Packers 16-7 at halftime

Green Bay tried a 57-yard Brandon McManus field goal after Love's third-and-7 pass to Doubs fell incomplete, but the attempt fell short of the crossbars and Steelers took over at their 47.

A 5-yard pass to DK Metcalf and 9-yard Kenneth Gainwell run moved Pittsburgh into scoring territory. Rodgers didn't complete another pass, but Boswell made a 51-yard field goal to cut Green Bay's lead to 7-6 with 12:18 left in the second quarter.

The Packers went three-and-out after trying a deep ball to Doubs down the right sideline on first down. Whelan's 53-yard punt was returned 16 yards to the Pittsburgh 36.

Rodgers opened with a 12-yard pass to Ben Skowronek on a rollout. The Packers wanted a holding penalty on Rashan Gary on second-and-8, but referee Shawn Hochuli passed.

On the next play, Evan Williams broke up a pass down the seam to Metcalf, but a flag was thrown on the perimeter for defensive holding.

Defensive lineman Kingsley Enagbare broke up the Steelers' momentum when he tackled Warren for a 5-yard loss on first-and-10 from the Green Bay 30. Pittsburgh eventually settled for a 48-yard Boswell field goal to pull back ahead 9-7 with 5:52 left in the first half.

The Packers again went three-and-out after Kraft dropped a third-and-3 pass from Love.

The Steelers kept humming on the ground with Warren gaining 26 yards on back-to-back carries and then Kenneth Gainwell picking up 14 to the Green Bay 37 at the two-minute warning.

Nixon was called for defensive pass interference on a third-and-9 deep ball. A 10-yard rollout to Metcalf set up first-and-goal at the Green Bay 2. Metcalf caught the 2-yard TD on the next play off a slant to extend Pittsburgh's lead to 16-7 with 34 seconds left in the first half.

Love hit back-to-back passes to Josh Jacobs (for eight yards) and Watson (for 19) to move the ball to the Green Bay 47 with 18 seconds left in the half. A facemask penalty on T.J. Watt moved Green Bay to the 36. McManus missed a 44-yard field goal wide left to end the half.

WR Savion Williams

Steelers lead Packers 19-14 after three quarters

Micah Parsons pressured Rodgers into throwing the ball away on first down, leading to Pittsburgh going three-and-out. Green Bay took over at its 10 after a holding penalty on the return.

On third-and-5, Kraft shook a defender off him and broke into the open field for a 59-yard gain to the Pittsburgh 26. It was his fourth career catch of 50-plus yards, most among NFL tight ends since Kraft entered the league in 2023.

Green Bay faced fourth-and-1 from the Steelers' 18 after three straight Jacobs runs, with Kraft again coming through with a 9-yard pickup to set up first-and-goal.

Two plays later, Savion Williams motioned left and caught a screen that he extended for a 9-yard touchdown to cut the Steelers' lead to 16-14 with 8:48 left in the third quarter. It was his first career TD catch.

Rodgers and Metcalf moved Pittsburgh across midfield with a 24-yard connection. After Warren gained 11 yards, it was initially ruled the Packers forced a fumble of Rodgers that Rashan Gary recovered.

However, it was overturned upon expediated review, and it was ruled incomplete. Pittsburgh maintained possession and pushed its lead to 19-14 behind a 56-yard Boswell field goal with 5:34 left in the third quarter.

Green Bay opened with a 14-yard pass to Emanuel Wilson, who then gained four yards on his next carry to the Packers' 40. Heath picked up the first down on a 7-yard out.

On third-and-7, Love hit Watson on a 33-yard deep ball to the Pittsburgh 7-yard line.
