2023 (Senior): Hopper's 55 tackles through 10 games led the Missouri defense, before a November injury forced him to the sideline for the final two contests of the regular season ... named a second-team All-SEC pick by the conference's head coaches ... named one of five finalists for the Butkus Award, honoring the nation's most outstanding linebacker … became the third Mizzou player to earn finalist honors for the Butkus Award, joining Nick Bolton (2020) and Sean Weatherspoon (2008, 2009) ... created havoc on the field all season long, leading the recording six tackles for a loss to go along with three sacks, six QB hurries and three pass break ups ... named the Senior Bowl Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 18 following MU's win against Kansas State (Sept. 16) featuring eight tackles, one for loss, and a pair of quarterback hurries and pass break ups ... registered a season-best 10 tackles and a sack against No. 1 Georgia (Nov. 4) … listed on the watchlists for the Bronko Nagurski Award and Chuck Bednarik Award, both of which honor the top defensive player in college football.
