GREEN BAY – The Packers have ruled out cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring) and listed defensive lineman Colby Wooden (shoulder) questionable for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Quarterback Brock Purdy (right shoulder) and defensive end Nick Bosa (hip/oblique) are among six players the 49ers have ruled out. San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed after practice Friday that Brandon Allen will start in Purdy's place.

Cooper had seven tackles on a career-high 51 snaps against the Bears before pulling his hamstring during practice Wednesday. While the Packers face a tight turnaround for a Thanksgiving Day matchup with Miami, Head Coach Matt LaFleur said he doesn't have any long-term concern over Cooper's hamstring.

Alexander, who injured his knee last month in Jacksonville, played 10 snaps in the Packers' 20-19 win over the Bears before exiting. Alexander didn't practice this week but isn't expected to go on injured reserve, according to LaFleur.

Cornerback Carrington Valentine stepped in for Alexander in Chicago, recording nine tackles. After starting 12 games as a rookie, Valentine missed portions of training camp and two regular-season games due to an ankle injury.

"It's been a while," said Valentine when asked about his 64-snap outing vs. the Bears. "But it was a good to get back out there, feel some things out, make some plays in the run game and stuff like that. It felt good and something to build off."

Green Bay didn't issue a game status for the following players who are expected to be available: defensive lineman Kenny Clark (toe), running back Josh Jacobs (quadricep/calf), guard/tackle Elgton Jenkins (veteran rest), center Josh Myers (wrist), tackle Rasheed Walker (knee), and safety Evan Williams (hamstring).

In addition to Purdy and Bosa, the 49ers also ruled out linebacker Tatum Bethune (knee), defensive tackle Kevin Givens (groin), receiver Jacob Cowing (ankle) and cornerback Charvarius Ward (personal).

Tackle Trent Williams (ankle) and center Jon Feliciano (knee) are both questionable. Running back Christian McCaffrey (veteran rest, Achilles) and tight end George Kittle (hamstring) did not receive a game status and are expected to play.
