GREEN BAY – Packers running back AJ Dillon was voted the NFL Rookie of the Week in an online poll for his performance in Week 16.

Dillon, Green Bay's second-round draft pick out of Boston College, had 21 carries for 124 yards and his first two pro touchdowns in the Packers' 40-14 rout of the Tennessee Titans last Sunday.

In the online vote among five candidates, Dillon captured 46% percent of the vote, well ahead of the 28% garnered by Cincinnati wide receiver Tee Higgins.

Dillon's effort was part of the Packers' 234 rushing yards as a team, their second-highest total of the season. Veteran Jamaal Williams missed the game with a quad injury, and Aaron Jones also exited briefly, leading to the larger workload for Dillon.

Jones returned to the game and still amassed 94 yards on the ground on just 10 carries.

Dillon capped his night by scoring Green Bay's last two TDs, a 30-yarder on fourth-and-1 and then a 7-yarder with less than three minutes left in the game.
