GREEN BAY – Packers T David Bakhtiari (chest) has been downgraded to OUT for tomorrow's game against the Houston Texans and did not travel.

Five remain questionable: running back Aaron Jones (calf), tight end Robert Tonyan (ankle), defensive lineman Montravius Adams (foot), linebacker Preston Smith (shoulder) and center Corey Linsley (back).

Safety Darnell Savage (quad) and cornerback Kevin King (quad) are doubtful, while defensive lineman Tyler Lancaster (shoulder) and running back Tyler Ervin have been ruled out.

Jones didn't practice Friday after experiencing some tightness in his calf following Thursday's padded work. Head Coach Matt LaFleur said the team plans to give him the weekend before making a decision on his availability in Houston.

"Just kind of felt my calf get tight during practice, really didn't pay it much attention and then after and throughout the later parts of the day is when I started to feel it," said Jones on Friday.

"I feel like I'm confident I can play, but I know our trainers and doctors have the players' best interests in mind. I'm gonna do everything in my power to make sure I can get out on the field, but it's up to the team doctors."

If Jones is unable to play, LaFleur told reporters rookie second-round pick AJ Dillon is "absolutely" ready to step in alongside fourth-year veteran Jamaal Williams in Green Bay's backfield.

Neither Savage nor Bakhtiari practice this week after leaving this past Sunday's game in Tampa Bay. King practiced Wednesday and Thursday, but was a non-participant Friday.

Meanwhile, Tonyan returned to practice Friday in a limited capacity after not practicing Wednesday and Thursday. While listed as questionable, Linsley was listed as a full participant Friday after being added to the injury report Thursday with the back issue.

The Packers removed six players from their injury report who are expected to be available: cornerback Jaire Alexander (hand/knee), linebackers Za'Darius Smith (ankle), Rashan Gary (ankle) and Krys Barnes (shoulder/calf), tight end Marcedes Lewis (knee) and receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (knee).

Houston listed tight end Jordan Akins (ankle/concussion) and inside linebacker Peter Kalambayi (hamstring) as questionable.

The Texans also removed six from the injury report who are expected to be available: defensive end J.J. Watt (not injury related), tackle Laremy Tunsil (shoulder), safety Justin Reid (shoulder), cornerback Keion Crossen (foot), running back Buddy Howell (hamstring) and guard Senio Kelemete (knee).
