Biography

The Green Bay Packers signed TE Josh Whyle to the practice squad on August 28, 2025.

Whyle (6-7, 248) is a third-year player out of the University of Cincinnati who was originally selected by the Tennessee Titans in the fifth round (No. 147 overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. He played in 28 games with seven starts for the Titans in two seasons, recording 37 receptions for 342 yards (9.2 avg.) and two touchdowns. Whyle also recorded four tackles on a special teams. Last season, he posted career highs in receptions (28), receiving yards (248) and special teams tackles (four). In college, he was a three-time All-American Athletic Conference selection who set a school record for most career receiving TDs (15) by a tight end.
