Biography
- Finished with 27½ career sacks to rank No. 3 all-time in program history. Dating back to 2005, ranks No. 6 in the Mid-American Conference in sacks (www.sports-reference.com).
- Started all 52 games he played in over five seasons (2018-22), recording 167 tackles (77 solo), 46 tackles for a loss, an interception, six passes defensed, six forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
- Served as a team captain for his final two seasons.
- Ranked No. 3 in the conference and tied for No. 10 in the country in 2022 with a career-best 10 sacks and posted a career-best 18 tackles for a loss that ranked No. 3 in the MAC and tied for No. 9 in the nation.
- Selected first-team All-American by Pro Football Focus, honorable mention All-American by Pro Football Network and first-team All-MAC (PFF, PFN) in 2022 and earned third-team All-MAC honors and honorable mention All-MAC (PFF) in 2021.
- Earned second-team all-state honors from the Detroit News and was a first-team all-conference selection while also being named to the Lansing State Journal "Dream Team" at Lansing (Mich.) Sexton High School.

- Selected by the Packers with the first of two picks in the sixth round (No. 179 overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft, a pick obtained from Tampa Bay along with a 2023 second-round pick (No. 50 overall) in exchange for a 2023 second-round pick (No. 48 overall).
- Became the fourth player Green Bay has drafted from Bowling Green and the first since LB Mark Emans in 1984 (12th round, No. 323 overall).
- Is the seventh Bowling Green player to be selected in the NFL Draft since 2000 and the first since WR Scott Miller in 2019 (Tampa Bay, sixth round, No. 208 overall).

Split a sack with DL Dierre Kelly on a third-and-7 in the second quarter to force a punt and his two full sacks occurred on back-to-back plays to force a third-and-22 in the fourth quarter…Vs. Miami of Ohio (Oct. 15): Recorded three tackles (two solo), 1½ tackles for a loss and a QB hurry, helping a defense that held the RedHawks to just 189 yards of total offense. It marked the first time since 2019 against Akron that BGSU held an opponent under 200 yards of total offense…At Central Michigan (Oct. 22): Posted three tackles (all solo) and three tackles for a loss, and led the team with three sacks, including forcing a fumble on a sack that OLB Demetrius Hardamon returned for a TD in the fourth quarter. It was only the fifth time since 2000 that a Falcon had three-plus sacks in a game and the first since 2011 (Chris Jones against Temple)…Vs. Western Michigan (Nov. 2): Posted a team-high seven tackles (five solo), a half-sack, a QB hurry and a forced fumble…At Toledo (Nov. 15): Recorded seven tackles (three solo), two sacks and four tackles for a loss. Became the fifth player to record at least four tackles for a loss in a game against Toledo dating back to 2000.
2021: Started all 12 games, was a team captain and earned third-team All-MAC honors and All-MAC honorable mention (PFF)…Finished the regular season ranked No. 5 in the MAC with 7½ sacks…Also recorded 42 tackles (15 solo), 12½ tackles for a loss and a forced fumble…At Tennessee (Sept. 2): Notched five tackles (four solo) and a tackle for a loss, and sacked QB Joe Milton III for a loss of 3 yards on third-and-16 to a force a punt in the first quarter…Vs. Akron (Oct. 9): Registered four tackles (three solo), 3½ tackles for a loss and two sacks, including a sack of QB Kato Nelson at the Akron 1 for a loss of 8 yards to force a punt early in the second quarter. Part of a defense that allowed 3 yards of total offense and forced two turnovers in the first quarter…Vs. Eastern Michigan (Oct. 23): Posted a season-high six tackles (all assists), tied for the fourth most on the team…At Buffalo (Oct. 30): Matched his season best with six tackles (two solo), including a team-high two tackles for a loss and a sack. Brought down QB Kyle Vantrease for a loss of 7 yards on a third-and-6 to force a punt early in the second quarter…Vs. Ohio (Nov. 26): Recorded four tackles (three solo), two sacks, 2½ tackles for a loss and a forced fumble. Led the team in both sacks and tackles for a loss. Sacked QB Kurtis Rourke for a loss of 6 yards to force a third-and-17 that was not converted late in the second quarter. Late in the third quarter, recorded a sack/forced fumble on Rourke that Ohio recovered for a loss of 9 yards to force a punt on fourth-and-22.
2020: Started all three games he played in what was a five-game season for the Falcons…Finished with 10 tackles (three solo) and 2½ tackles for a loss, and tied for the team lead with two sacks…At Ohio (Nov. 28): Posted a season-best five tackles (two solo) and a shared tackle for a loss. Four of his tackles were within 2 yards of the line of scrimmage…At Akron (Dec. 5): Registered three tackles (two solo), two tackles for a loss and two sacks. All three of his tackles were for a gain of a yard. His second sack of QB Zach Gibson went for a loss of 12 yards on a third-and-2.
2019: Started all 12 games, recording 33 tackles (16 solo), 8½ tackles for a loss (No. 2 on the team), a team best 4½ sacks, four QB hurries, an interception, two forced fumbles (career best, tied for the team lead) and a pass defensed…Part of a defense that held three opponents to fewer than 10 points, marking the first season since 2013 with three or more games of single-digit scoring by opponents…At Kansas State (Sept. 7): Tallied three tackles (all solo), a sack and a tackle for a loss. With KSU at the BGSU 6-yard line on the first drive of the game, stopped RB Harry Trotter for no gain, and after two incompletions, the Wildcats settled for a field goal…Vs. Toledo (Oct. 12): Registered five tackles (two solo), two tackles for a loss and forced a fumble on a sack of QB Eli Peters for a loss of 5 yards on third-and-3 late in the fourth quarter, a fumble that Toledo recovered at the BGSU 31, and Peters threw an interception on the next play. On a third-and-2 late in the third quarter, stopped RB Bryant Koback for a loss of 2 yards to force a punt. Part of a defense that held the Rockets to seven points, the fewest points that the Falcons allowed against Toledo since a 20-6 win in 1987…Vs. Akron (Nov. 2): Finished with five tackles (three solo), a season-high 2½ tackles for a loss, 1½ sacks, and an interception returned 33 yards to the Akron 8 in the second quarter. Both his full and half-sack came on third downs to force punts. Tackled QB Kato Nelson for a loss of 9 yards on a running play to set up a third-and-19 that was not converted late in the first quarter…At Miami of Ohio (Nov. 13): Posted three tackles (one solo), a tackle for a loss and forced a fumble on a second-quarter sack of QB Brett Gabbert on third-and-8 that was recovered by DL Chris Oliver at the Miami 16.
2018: Played in all 12 games as a true freshman with eight starts, including the final five games…Led the team in sacks (3½) and tied for No. 2 in tackles for a loss (4½)…Also posted 32 tackles (13 solo), two QB hurries and a forced fumble…Vs. Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 15): Posted a season-high nine tackles (six solo, No. 2 on the team), a sack, a tackle for a loss and two QB hurries. Took down QB Dakota Allen for a loss of 5 yards on a second-and-2 in the third quarter and registered a QB hurry on an incomplete pass on third down, forcing a punt…At Central Michigan (Nov. 10): Posted a tackle for a loss and forced a fumble on RB Romello Ross a yard behind the line of scrimmage that was recovered by DL Kyle Junior at the CMU 1 and taken into the end zone to put BGSU up, 24-13, with just under seven minutes to play in the game…At Akron (Nov. 17): Finished with two tackles (one solo) a season-best 1½ sacks and 1½ tackles for a loss. Recorded the full sack and a half- sack on Akron's final drive of the game and both were for a loss of 8 yards on second-and-10.
