Biography
The Green Bay Packers signed K Lenny Krieg on July 28, 2026.
Krieg (6-1, 210), who is from Berlin, Germany, originally signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent on March 28, 2025, and spent last season on the Falcons' practice squad as part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program. He signed with the New York Jets this offseason but was released on June 1. Krieg appeared in 24 games for the Stuttgart Surge of the European League of Football (ELF) over two seasons (2023-24), going 19 for 26 (73.1 pct.) on field-goal attempts, with a career long of 52 yards. Additionally, he converted 101 of 126 extra-point attempts (80.2 pct.). Krieg also appeared in four playoff games for the Surge, going 2 for 3 on field-goal attempts (66.7 pct.) and 8 for 15 on extra point attempts (53.3 pct.).
