The Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program currently is seeking mentor and protégé applicants for its 10th year of partnerships to foster business growth, economic development and job creation in Brown County and the surrounding areas.

Protégé companies in the program will be matched with mentor companies that can provide technical, managerial, financial or other guidance to improve their competitive standing. The program is open to all businesses, with a focus on minority-, woman-, veteran-, service-disabled veteran- or disabled person-owned businesses. The mentor-protégé relationship requires at least a 12-month commitment.

A meet-and-greet for current and prospective applicants will be held at the Lambeau Field Atrium on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Attendees should enter at the American Family Insurance Gate and proceed to the event on the fourth floor of the Atrium. The event will allow protégé companies to meet with potential mentors and discover if a match would be beneficial. To RSVP for the event, email aff@affresearch.com.

The program is administered by AFF Research LLC (AFFR). AFFR has consulted in the field of supplier diversity for 18 years, and has worked on the Lambeau Field redevelopment project and Atrium renovation project. AFFR assists their clients in designing and implementing comprehensive supplier diversity programs. They also provide guidance to entrepreneurs.

Those interested in the Packers Mentor-Protégé Program are also encouraged to attend program training camps and networking events, held frequently throughout the year.

Questions and requests for protégé and mentor applications should be directed to AFFR at 920-884-5006 or via e-mail at aff@affresearch.com. Applications also can be submitted online at affresearch.com/mentor-protege/. More information on the Mentor-Protégé program can be found online at packers.com/community/mentor-protege.
