Packers.com has consulted more than two dozen mock drafts from reputable national outlets and compiled a list of players most frequently mocked as draft selections in the middle portion of the first round (picks 10-20) who could fit Green Bay's potential roster needs.

Between now and draft day, when the Packers own the No. 15 overall selection in the first round, those players will be profiled with thumbnail sketches and videos known as "Prospect Primers."

Today's player is …

Bryan Bresee, DL, Clemson

Height/Weight: 6-5½, 298

Key stats: In 26 games (21 starts), had 64 career tackles, 15 tackles for loss, nine sacks, four pass breakups, an interception, forced fumble and safety.

College honors: Named ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year and first-team All-ACC in 2020, third-team All-ACC in 2021 after playing just four games, and second-team All-ACC in 2022.

Background/other info: Came to Clemson as the No. 1 prospect in the nation according to several recruiting services, and made an immediate impact, starting 10 of 12 games as a freshman and recording four sacks among 6½ tackles for loss to become the second ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year in school history, joining Dexter Lawrence (2016). Saw his 2021 season cut short due to an ACL injury, and then missed time last season due to the tragic loss of his younger sister, Ella, who died of brain cancer at age 15. Capable of lining up in different spots on the defensive line and is an instinctive, productive interior rusher, as Pro Football Focus credited him with 60 total pressures (sacks, hurries, hits) in 26 collegiate games. PFF also had him with only eight missed tackles in his career, a testament to his solid run defense. Moves incredibly fast for a big man, running a sub-5 40 at the combine (4.86) at 298 pounds, and could add more weight to his large frame at the next level.
