Packers.com has consulted more than two dozen mock drafts from reputable national outlets and compiled a list of players most frequently mocked as draft selections in the middle portion of the first round (picks 10-20) who could fit Green Bay's potential roster needs.

Between now and draft day, when the Packers own the No. 15 overall selection in the first round, those players will be profiled with thumbnail sketches and videos known as "Prospect Primers."

Today's player is …

Dalton Kincaid, TE, Utah

Height/Weight: 6-4, 246

Key stats: Led his team with 70 catches for 890 yards and eight TDs last season, his fourth year as a collegian with at least eight TD receptions.

College honors: Named third-team FCS All-America by AP in 2019 at San Diego, eventually becoming first-team All-Pac-12 selection and third-team FBS All-America at Utah in 2022.

Background/other info: Primarily a basketball player in high school, played just one year of prep football and began his college career at San Diego in the FCS. Caught 11 TD passes as a true freshman, and then recorded 44 catches for 835 yards and eight TDs as a sophomore, leading all FCS tight ends in yards per catch (19.0) and ranking second in receiving yards. Was offered a scholarship to Utah, and after seeing little action in 2020, caught 36 passes for 510 yards and eight TDs in 2021, numbers he topped this past season as the Utes' top receiving target. In all, posted 35 TD receptions as a collegiate player over 55 games at the two schools. At Utah, lined up everywhere from in-line tight end to boundary receiver. Didn't do physical testing at combine or pro day due to back injury. Isn't as highly regarded as a blocker compared to other top tight ends in a deep class, but will still challenge to be the first tight end selected due to his impressive skills and production as a pass-catcher.
