Knocked the ball loose from RB Dean Conners on a 16-yard run and it was recovered by LB Sam Howard at the Tulane 22. On the first play of the fourth quarter, picked off QB E.J. Warner and returned it 16 yards to the Green Wave 18…At Charlotte (Oct. 31): Finished with three tackles (two solo) and an INT that he returned 21 yards for his first career TD to put Tulane up, 20-3, in the third quarter. Broke up a pass over the middle on a third-and-6 on the first drive of the game, forcing a punt… At Army (Dec. 6): Tied his career high with five solo tackles (No. 2 on the team) as part of a seven-tackle performance in the AAC title game.
2023: Saw action in 11 games with five starts in his final season at Furman, recording 34 tackles (career-best 28 solo), a tackle for a loss, two INTs and five passes defensed…Posted a tackle in 10 games and multiple tackles in nine contests… Tennessee Tech (Aug. 31): Registered a season-high six tackles (career-high five solo) to go with a pass defensed…At South Carolina (Sept. 9): Finished with five tackles that were all solo to tie his career high…Vs. Mercer (Sept. 23): Posted four tackles (three solo) and a tackle for a loss…Vs. The Citadel (Oct. 7): Registered three tackles (all solo) and a season-best two passes defensed…Vs. ETSU (Oct. 28): Recorded four tackles (three solo) and an INT. Picked off QB William Riddle to give the offense the ball at the ETSU 42, setting up a drive that resulted in a TD as the Paladins took a 16-0 lead late in the third quarter…At Montana (Dec. 8): Registered a tackle (solo) and an INT when he picked off QB Clifton McDowell with just under nine minutes to play in the third quarter and returned it a career-long 34 yards to the UM 19, setting up a drive that resulted in a TD to give Furman a 21- 20 lead in a quarterfinal game in the FCS playoffs.
