Rice (Oct. 19): Tied for the team lead with four tackles (all solo) and paced the team with a season-best two passes defensed, an INT and the first forced fumble of his career. Knocked the ball loose from RB Dean Conners on a 16-yard run and it was recovered by LB Sam Howard at the Tulane 22. On the first play of the fourth quarter, picked off QB E.J. Warner and returned it 16 yards to the Green Wave 18…At Charlotte (Oct. 31): Finished with three tackles (two solo) and an INT that he returned 21 yards for his first career TD to put Tulane up, 20-3, in the third quarter. Broke up a pass over the middle on a third-and-6 on the first drive of the game, forcing a punt… At Army (Dec. 6): Tied his career high with five solo tackles (No. 2 on the team) as part of a seven-tackle performance in the AAC title game.
