Biography
The Green Bay Packers claimed TE Ben Sims off waivers on August 31, 2023.
Sims (6-5, 250), a rookie out of Baylor, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023, by the Vikings. He ended his collegiate career ranked in the top five among the school's tight ends in career touchdowns (No. 1, 12), receptions (No. 2, 78) and receiving yards (No. 4, 785). After appearing in 11 games over his first two seasons, Sims played in 26 games with 24 starts over his final two years at Baylor.
