Biography
The Green Bay Packers signed CB Zyon Gilbert to the practice squad on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. (ZYE-in) Gilbert (6-0, 193), a first-year player out of Florida Atlantic, was originally signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He spent his rookie season on the Giants' practice squad and active roster, appearing in three games with one start. Gilbert posted 10 tackles (seven solo), a tackle for a loss, a sack, a QB hit and four tackles on special teams. He was released by the Giants following the 2023 training camp. Gilbert will wear No. 27 for the Packers.
