GREEN BAY – The Packers have listed safety Darnell Savage (shoulder) and guard Lucas Patrick (concussion) as questionable for Monday night's home-opener against the Detroit Lions.

Green Bay also ruled out reserve safety Vernon Scott (hamstring) and listed tight end Josiah Deguara (concussion) as doubtful.

Savage left in the second half of Sunday's loss to New Orleans, but practiced all week in a limited capacity. Patrick, who started at left guard against the Saints, is still in the concussion protocol but was cleared to participate in Saturday's non-padded practice.

"It's been good," said Head Coach Matt LaFleur of Patrick's progress this week. "He was out there today practicing and that's just part of the protocol and we'll see how he responds post-practice."

If Patrick isn't cleared by game time, 2020 sixth-round picks Jon Runyan and Jake Hanson would be the most likely candidates to step in at left guard.

Runyan didn't start as a rookie in 2020 but played 160 offensive snaps as an injury replacement against Minnesota and Detroit (Weeks 1-2), San Francisco (Week 8), and Indianapolis and Chicago (Weeks 10-11). Hanson, a four-year starting center at Oregon, started his rookie season on the Packers' practice squad before undergoing season-ending hip surgery.

The Packers did not issue a game designation for center/guard Josh Myers (finger), tight end Marcedes Lewis (not injury related/veteran rest) and defensive lineman Tyler Lancaster (back/ankle). All three are expected to be available on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Lions have ruled out starting receiver Tyrell Williams (concussion) and defensive end Kevin Strong (concussion).

Defensive end Michael Brockers (shoulder), outside linebacker Trey Flowers (shoulder), receiver Kalif Raymond (thigh) and running backs D'Andre Swift (groin) are questionable, though Swift was a full participant in practice Saturday.

Outside linebacker Romeo Okwara (shoulder), defensive end Levi Onwuzurike (hip) and Jamaal Williams (chest) did not receive a game designation and are expected to play.
