(duh-MAWN) Bankston (5-10, 196) is a rookie out of the University of New Mexico who was originally signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent on May 8, 2026, but was released after training camp. He started his college career at Weber State (2021-24) before finishing at New Mexico (2025). Overall, Bankston played in 51 games with 24 starts, recording 2,959 yards and 27 touchdowns on 505 carries (5.9 avg.) as well as 65 receptions for 729 yards (11.2 avg.) and four TDs. He also registered 16 kickoff returns for 532 yards (33.3 avg.) and two TDs.
