Biography

  • Among NFL cornerbacks who played 500-plus snaps during the 2020 regular season, was targeted the sixth-fewest times (51) and had the eighth-fewest burns with 32 (occurs when a targeted defensive player allows a completed pass), according to Sportradar.
  • Appeared in 15 games with 14 starts in 2019 and posted career highs across the board with 59 tackles (45 solo), a sack, a team-leading five interceptions (tied for No. 4 in the NFL) and 18 passes defensed (No. 2 on the team).
  • In 2018, started all six games he appeared in during a season shortened by groin and hamstring injuries. Recorded 22 tackles (16 solo), a tackle for a loss, an interception, a fumble recovery and a pass defensed.
  • Appeared in nine games with five starts as a rookie in 2017, registering 31 tackles (23 solo), a tackle for a loss and eight passes defensed before being placed on injured reserve (shoulder) on Dec. 6.
