Biography

Pro Highlights:

  • Among players with 140-plus rushing attempts since 2016, ranks No. 3 among NFL running backs with an average of 4.93 yards per carry over that span, trailing only Saints RB Mark Ingram (4.98) and Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake (4.96).
  • Was limited to eight games in 2017 due to injuries (ribs/wrist), rushing for 273 yards and three TDs on 71 carries (3.8 avg.) with 23 receptions for 173 yards (7.5 avg.) and a TD.
  • With injuries in the backfield, made the switch from WR to RB in 2016, appearing in 15 games with six starts and leading the team with 457 rushing yards and three TDs on just 77 carries (5.9 avg.). Added 44 receptions for 348 yards (7.9 avg.).
  • Among NFL running backs with 75-plus carries, ranked No. 1 in the NFL in 2016 with an average of 5.94 yards per carry. That average also ranks No. 2 in franchise single-season history (min. 75 att.) behind only QB Tobin Rote’s 6.88-yard average in 1951 (76-523).
  • Was the only player in the NFL with 75-plus rushing attempts, 40-plus receptions and 15-plus kickoff returns in 2016, also becoming the first player in team history to eclipse each of those marks in a season.
  • Rushed for a career-high 162 yards and two TDs on just 16 carries (10.1 avg.) in 2016 at Chicago in Week 15, the best yardage output by a Packer since RB Samkon Gado ran for 171 yards vs. Detroit on Dec. 11, 2005. Dating back to 1960, his average of 10.1 yards per carry was the third highest (min. 15 carries) by a Green Bay player, trailing only Ahman Green (10.9 avg. vs. Dallas on Oct. 24, 2004, and 10.9 vs. Denver on Dec. 28, 2003).
  • In Green Bay’s win at Dallas in a 2016 NFC Divisional playoff contest, became just the sixth player in team history to rush for two-plus TDs in a postseason game and the first since RB Ryan Grant (three vs. Seattle, Jan. 12, 2008).
  • Played in six games with three starts at WR as a rookie in 2015 before sustaining an ankle injury in Week 6 vs. San Diego that would sideline him for the remainder of the season.
  • Caught 15 passes for 136 yards (9.1 avg.) and two TDs and posted a 31.1-yard average on seven kickoff returns in 2015. Also rushed for 14 yards on three carries (4.7 avg.).
  • Was drafted by Green Bay in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft with the No. 94 overall selection, the first WR from Stanford to be picked by the Packers since James Lofton in 1978 (first round, No. 6 overall).
