GREEN BAY – Receiver Jayden Reed (toe/chest) and cornerback Jaire Alexander (shoulder) are among seven players the Packers have listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Carolina Panthers.
The other five questionable players are running back AJ Dillon (thumb), defensive tackle T.J. Slaton (knee/foot), safety Rudy Ford (back), cornerback Robert Rochell (neck) and receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle).
Receiver Christian Watson (hamstring), tackle Luke Tenuta (ankle), and running back Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) are doubtful, while linebacker De'Vondre Campbell (neck), safety Darnell Savage (shoulder), and tight end Luke Musgrave (kidney) have been ruled out.
Musgrave, Wilson and Tenuta are all designated to return from injured reserve and not presently on the 53-man roster.
Reed, who already had been playing through a chest injury, didn't practice this week after injuring his toe last Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Alexander hasn't played since Green Bay's 20-3 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 5, but LaFleur said the team is "hopeful" the Charlotte native could return against the Panthers.
The Packers didn't issue a game status for running back Aaron Jones (knee/finger), who had 13 carries for 53 yards in his return last Sunday versus Tampa Bay. LaFleur said Jones "looked good all week, had no complaints and hopefully he stays that way."
Despite Dillon being listed as questionable, LaFleur said the team feels "good where AJ's at" after the fourth-year running back injured his thumb two weeks ago against the New York Giants. Last Sunday was the first NFL contest Dillon has missed due to injury.
In addition to Jones, Green Bay didn't issue a game status for the following players who are expected to be available: linebacker Kingsley Enagbare (toe), guard Elgton Jenkins (shoulder), safety Jonathan Owens (knee), linebacker Quay Walker (shoulder) and tackle Caleb Jones (illness/foot).
The Panthers have listed safety Sam Franklin Jr. (quadriceps), tight end Ian Thomas (ankle), linebacker Claudin Cherelus (knee) as questionable.
Linebackers Brian Burns (illness), Yetur Gross-Matos (illness) and Marquis Haynes (illness/back) all returned to practice on Friday and are expected to play Sunday.
In addition to Burns, Gross-Matos and Haynes, Carolina didn't issue a game status for the following players who are expected to be available: tackle Taylor Moton (knee/rest), tight end Tommy Tremble (illness), tackle David Sharpe (illness), safety Xavier Woods (illness), tight end Stephen Sullivan (shoulder).
