The Packers signed Jason Thompson to the practice squad on Dec. 4, 2018.
Thompson (6-2, 210), a first-year player out of the University of Utah, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the New England Patriots on May 5, 2017. After being released following training camp, he spent some time on the practice squads of the Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks as a rookie. In 2018, Thompson was with the Dallas Cowboys early in the offseason and spent training camp with the Tennessee Titans. He was on the Washington Redskins’ practice squad for a brief time during the regular season.
